It’s very easy to buy BlastUP tokens on presale from your smartphone - even if you don’t have a crypto wallet yet. We’ll explain how to install Trust Wallet on mobile and how to use it to buy BLP with a credit card.
Trust Wallet is one of the most popular mobile crypto wallets in the world. It supports over 70 blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Polygon, etc. It will also support the upcoming Blast Blockchain - so you’ll be able to store your BLP tokens in Trust Wallet without any problems!
Trust Wallet is available for Android, iOS, and desktop. We will show how to install and use it on Android - on iOS, the process is the same.
There are tons of things you can do with Trust Wallet:
Store, send, and receive crypto;
Buy crypto with a bank card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or bank transfer right in the wallet. You won’t need crypto to buy $BLP tokens, though, because the BlastUP Presale site already has an integration with the fiat payment service Münzen.
Convert USD, EUR, and 100+ real-world (“fiat”) currencies into crypto;
Swap (trade) one cryptocurrency for another, and much more.
Ready to create your first Trust Wallet account? Let’s go!
Search for Trust Wallet in Play Store.
Locate Trust (the first non-sponsored result) and tap “Install”. Once installed, open the app.
Tap “Get Started”. On the next screen, tap “Create New Wallet”.
Tap on “Secret phrase”. The next step is crucial: you’ll be given a secret phrase, and you’ll need to save it in a very safe location.
The secret phrase is also called the seed phrase or mnemonic. It consists of 12 words, such as “goose big house drive banana beautiful star run bicycle shoes extreme cheese”.
If anyone gains access to your secret phrase, they will be able to get into your wallet and steal all your crypto, including your BlastUP BLP tokens. So you must never, ever share it with anyone.
And if for some reason you lose access to your wallet (for example, if you lose your phone) and you don’t have the secret phrase saved, you’ll lose access to your BLP forever.
Trust offers two ways of saving the secret phrase: manually or on Google Drive. If you choose the option “Back up manually”, prepare to copy or write down the secret phrase and save it somewhere safe. We recommend that you make several backup copies of the secret phrase - for example, in a password manager and on a few pieces of paper that you can hide around your house.
DON’T save the secret phrase in an email, messenger, etc. Hackers could get access to it and steal your crypto.
If you choose the option “Back up to Google Drive”, remember that you will only be able to access the secret phrase when you have access to Google Drive. So for example, if you lose the phone and you can’t restore access to your Google account, you won’t be able to use Google Drive, either. We recommend always making manual backups, as well.
In this example, we’ll tap on “Back Up Manually”. Read the security tips carefully and check the box next to each tip. Tap “Continue”.
On the next screen, Tap “Copy to Clipboard” and save the secret phrase in your selected location. Note that Trust Wallet prevents users from taking screenshots of sensitive information like secret phrases (and this is a good thing).
Now Trust Wallet will check if you have indeed saved the secret phrase. Insert only the requested words from the recovery phrase. In this example, you’ll need to go through the recovery phrase you’ve just saved and count words to find the 1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th words. Once you’ve entered the missing words, the blue Confirm button will become active. Tap it.
If you entered the words correctly, Trust Wallet will ask you to create a passcode of 6 digits. On the next screen, enter the passcode again to confirm. Alternatively, you can tap the fingerprint icon to set up biometric access to the wallet.
Your wallet is ready to use! Tap “Start using Trust Wallet”.
OK, you have a wallet - now it’s time to buy some $BLP!
BlastUP has partnered up with the fiat payment provider Münzen so that you can buy $BLP tokens even if you don’t have any crypto yet.
On your smartphone, open your favorite internet browser and go to the BlastUP Presale page. Next to where it says “Buy With”, tap the word “Ethereum”. A drop down with several payment methods will open. Tap “Bank Card”.
Now you’ll see “Bank Card” as the selected method. Where it says “You Pay”, enter the amount you want to spend in USD. In the “You Receive” field, you’ll see how many BLP tokens you’ll get for that amount.
Tap the blue Connect button. A dropdown with a list of supported wallets will open. Tap Trust Wallet.
Trust Wallet will open. Enter the passcode After that, Trust will ask you to approve the connection to the BlastUP site. Tap “Connect”.
You’ll be redirected to the BlastUp presale site, but now the wallet is connected. The blue button on the Presale page should now say “Buy Now”. Tap on it.
The Münzen payment widget will open. It will display an amount in USDT - cryptocurrency that is equivalent to US dollars ($1 = 1 USDT). Don’t worry: you will get $BLP in the end. Tap on Proceed.
Enter your email address and agree to the Terms of Service. Tap on “Proceed”.
A verification code will be sent to your email. Enter it in the nex window and then fill in your personal information - first and last name and country. Tap “Confirm and Proceed”.
Enter your payment details and billing address (tap the Add icon to enter your billing address). Tap “Proceed”. Once again - don’t worry, you are buying $BLP tokens and not USDT.
Tap “Proceed” and wait for a payment status update. You might need to enter a security verification code in your banking app or perform some other verification, depending on your card issuer. If the payment is successful, your $BLP tokens will soon appear in your profile on https://BlastUP.io/.
To check, tap the blue button with your wallet address in the top right of the screen (MetaMask needs to be connected). Check the number next to “My $BLP Holding”.
That’s it - you’ve successfully created a Trust wallet, purchased $BLP on the presale and even learned a little about wallet security! Now you just have to wait for the Token Generation Event (TGE) to be able to claim the tokens and receive them to the wallet. Stay tuned for more updates from BlastUP!
